U13 SR, 2022-2023, REP (Brampton Girls Softball Association)

What a season!!  I was lucky enough to be the head coach of an incredible group of athletes.  The season started with only four returning Blazers, two rep players from other organizations, a few Select Players and one athlete who only played ball two months prior to trying out this season!  With all the help of the coaching staff, parents and senior athletes that coached us when they weren't playing themselves, this development group had so much growth on and off the field.

Walked out of our last practice before Qualifiers to this beauty.  Bring on the weekend, we're ready!!  Safe travels to all the U13s this weekend, see you soon! Blazers U13Sr

We said goodbye to the city and headed to Palmerston, Ontario.   It took awhile for the team to get back into the swing of things but we finished our Sunday strong.  We were down 9-2 and ended up winning 11-10 !! Thank you to the U13 Palmerston Marlins for hosting, we had a lot of fun!

Our team was fortunate to have two players attend the U13 Peel Halton vs Grand Valley Future Stars Event hosted by the Cambridge Coyotes last weekend.  27 athletes from 26 teams started the afternoon showing off their skills in four different categories which lead into a 7 inning nail biting game with Peel Halton winning 4:3.  H stopped a huge hit out to CF and K's steal at home ended up being the winning run.  Even though it was just two U13Sr Blazers on the field that day, we couldn't have done it without our Blazer family cheering us on from the bleachers and following us live at ...

Wow!!  These girls brought the HEAT to the Barrie Bash!! We faced some strong competitive teams in round robin play that put us into the consolation pool on Sunday.  These girls gave it their all.  They never gave up and their bats came alive.
