Bronze at the Grand Championships
What a season!! I was lucky enough to be the head coach of an incredible group of athletes. The season started with only four returning Blazers, two rep players from other organizations, a few Select Players and one athlete who only played ball two months prior to trying out this season! With all the help of the coaching staff, parents and senior athletes that coached us when they weren't playing themselves, this development group had so much growth on and off the field.

Our final game was toughly fought against a group of athletes that we have had the pleasure of competing against for years and who had helped us at the start of our season. Milton Bats U13 Purple, you are a force to be reckoned with!!!
While my group celebrated our 8-7 victory, we also felt the emotions of our counterparts and were all hugging and chatting with them. There wasn't a dry eye from the players, coaches and parents.
We may not have won Gold that day, but I think it's fair to say that this group gained so much more this season.
